Rokhak Women Handicraft is dedicated to the innovative use of water hyacinth, an invasive plant turned eco-friendly material. The workshop offers hands-on classes where participants can learn to create beautiful and sustainable items such as baskets, accessories, and home decor. Water hyacinth is transformed from a problematic plant into durable, attractive products that support local artisans, primarily women, and contribute to environmental conservation efforts. This class provides an excellent opportunity to experience traditional Cambodian craftsmanship with a modern twist.
Ticket price for the workshop is $2X per person, which includes all materials and instructions. Group discounts are available upon request.
The workshop is open from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily, with classes available throughout the day. It is recommended to book in advance, especially for group bookings.
Rokhak Women Handicraft is easily accessible by tuk-tuk, car, or bicycle from the Siem Reap city center. It is approximately a 15-minute ride from the Old Market area. Directions can be provided upon booking.
