




The APOPO Visitor Center is located on Provincial Road in Kouk Chak, Siem Reap, Cambodia.
The APOPO Visitor Center offers an educational experience about humanitarian demining using HeroRATs. These specially trained rats detect landmines and unexploded ordnance, making Cambodia safer. Visitors can see the HeroRATs in action, watch educational videos, and even hold one of these amazing animals. The tours provide a unique insight into the demining process and the history of landmines in Cambodia.
The center is open daily from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with the last tour starting at 4:30 PM.
The visitor center includes a demonstration area where HeroRATs show their skills, educational exhibits, and a small shop selling souvenirs to support the cause. The center is family-friendly and provides a unique educational experience for all ages.
The APOPO Visitor Center is conveniently located just a short 10-minute tuk-tuk ride from downtown Siem Reap.
