




Wat Damnak is located behind the Siem Reap Art Center Night Market on the east side of the Siem Reap River, near the Old Market (Psar Chas).
Wat Damnak is the largest pagoda in Siem Reap, featuring impressive gardens with young green trees, meadows, and serene ponds. The pagoda's architectural grandeur includes large Angkorian-style stupas adorned with luxurious sculptures. It houses educational institutions, meditation halls, and a library, providing a space for both spiritual and intellectual pursuits. Wat Damnak serves as a cultural hub, home to a public primary school, the Center of Hope, and the literary study center.
Admission to Wat Damnak is generally free.
Wat Damnak is open daily from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The library is open Monday to Saturday.
