




The Tonle Sap Lake Museum, located in Siem Reap and managed by the Krousar Thmey Foundation, offers an educational and cultural experience focused on life around Cambodia’s largest freshwater lake. The museum showcases the unique ecosystem of the Tonle Sap region and the traditional lifestyles of its communities.
Visitors can explore detailed exhibits including traditional floating houses, fishing tools, and a large-scale model of the lake. Informational panels are available in Khmer, English, and French, making it accessible to both local and international visitors.
Admission is free of charge, with voluntary donations encouraged to support children with disabilities under Krousar Thmey’s care. This museum provides a meaningful insight into one of Cambodia’s most important natural and cultural landmarks.
