
IndiGo Launches First Direct Flights from India to Siem Reap, Cambodia
Siem Reap is set to welcome even more visitors with IndiGo, India’s leading airline, officially becoming the first Indian carrier to connect India and Cambodia. Starting 13 November 2025, IndiGo will operate thrice-weekly direct flights between Kolkata and Siem Reap using its Airbus A320neo aircraft.
This milestone not only strengthens connectivity between the two countries but also opens new opportunities for tourism, trade, and cultural exchange. With Cambodia’s growing popularity among Indian travelers and the ease of Visa on Arrival and e-Visa options, the new route will further position Siem Reap as a must-visit international destination.
According to Pieter Elbers, CEO of IndiGo, “We are delighted to be the first Indian carrier to offer direct flights to Cambodia. This route will not only boost tourism but also enhance cultural exchange and economic cooperation between India and Cambodia.”
