
Announcement On The Pilot Implementation of Visa Exemption For Chinese Tourists in 2026
The Ministry of Tourism has the honor to inform the public, tourism industry associations, tourism operators, the private sector, media outlets, national and international tourists, and all relevant stakeholders that, based on the proposal of the Ministry of Tourism within the framework of the Tourism Working Group (Group "B"), and with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, as well as in reference to the high approval of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN MANET, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Royal Government has approved the pilot implementation of a visa exemption for Chinese nationals traveling from China. This exemption allows a 14-day stay during a four-month period, from 15 June to 15 October 2026, without requiring an application or any fees, and only requiring the completion of an E-arrival card. During the validity of this pilot implementation, Chinese tourists may enter Cambodia multiple times.
In this regard, the Ministry of Tourism calls upon the public, tourism industry associations, tourism operators, the private sector, media outlets, national and international tourists, and all relevant stakeholders to be informed and to participate in the implementation with a strong sense of responsibility. The Ministry also encourages everyone to widely disseminate this information through all possible means and platforms, with the aim of further promoting the growth of Chinese tourist arrivals to the Kingdom of Cambodia.
