
Announcement on the Launch of New Tourist Routes at Several Temples within the Angkor Archaeological Park
The APSARA National Authority would like to inform all ministries, national and international institutions, local authorities, departments and units, tourism associations, tour guide associations, transport associations, travel agencies, national and international tourists, and the general public that, in order to provide more diverse and enriching experiences for visitors and to further promote the outstanding universal value of the Angkor Archaeological Park, the APSARA National Authority has developed new tourist routes at several temple sites as follows:
1. Angkor Wat Temple
There are three route options available:
2. Ta Prohm Temple
There are two route options available:
3. Banteay Srei Temple
There are two route options available:
4. Chau Say Tevoda Temple and Thommanon Temple
There are two route options available:
5. Neak Pean Temple
There are three route options available:
6. Phnom Krom Temple
Single route available – Duration: 30 minutes
The APSARA National Authority would like to further clarify that the establishment of these new routes aims to encourage visitors to explore key highlights of each temple through an enhanced experience featuring introductory historical information panels, narrative carvings along walkways, designated scenic photo spots, and other attractions.
The new tourist routes, as indicated in the attached map, will be officially implemented starting from the date of this announcement.
Therefore, the APSARA National Authority kindly requests all ministries, national and international institutions, local authorities, departments, tourism associations, tour guide and transport associations, travel agencies, national and international tourists, and the general public to take note, cooperate in disseminating this information, and implement accordingly.
