Siem Reap to Host Three-Day Entertainment Festival in Lieu of the Royal Water Festival 2025
This year, Siem Reap Province will not organize the Royal Water Festival Ceremony. However, the Siem Reap Provincial Administration, in collaboration with the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (Siem Reap Branch), will host a three-day entertainment program from November 4–6, 2025, as an alternative celebration to mark the occasion.
The event will feature a variety of exciting activities, including:
Boat riding activities
Siem Reap “My Home” Friendship Boat Race (small boats with five paddlers)
Food exhibition booths
Traditional hand-drum music performances
Khmer boxing matches, Lakhon Bassac performances, and many other entertaining programs.
All activities will take place from Tuesday to Thursday, corresponding to the 14th waxing moon to the 1st waning moon of the lunar month Kattika, Buddhist Era 2569, which falls on November 4–6, 2025.
