Founded by Mrs. Paruth Hann, a skilled Cambodian potter, the center provides workshops for all skill levels. Visitors can try their hand at crafting pottery using the traditional Khmer “kick wheel,” learn intricate carving techniques, and the art of glazing. The center is a testament to the enduring spirit of Khmer culture and artistry.
The cost for a pottery class at the Angkor Pottery Center is approximately $7 per person. This includes all materials and guidance from experienced instructors.
The center is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The Angkor Pottery Center features a pottery workshop, factory, showroom, souvenir shop, outdoor museum, cultural center, and art gallery. It provides all necessary materials for pottery making and offers a comfortable environment for visitors to learn and create.
The Angkor Pottery Center is located about 3 kilometers south of the Old Market in Siem Reap. It can be easily reached by tuk-tuk.
